Zoom Link For Monthly Board Meetings
Baywatch Board Meetings, exclusive to homeowners, are conducted via Zoom on the second Tuesday of each month. To attend, please refer to the monthly agenda emailed to you by Optimum, containing the meeting link, ID, and password. Additionally, the agenda will be posted on the bulletin board by the pool area four days prior to the meeting.

- Read the Water Intrusion Policy Document: Please be aware that it is essential to review your Homeowner's policy with your insurance broker to ensure appropriate coverage. This is in response to our newly published and adopted 2022 Water Intrusion Policy and liability changes. You can find this policy on the Optimum portal or request it directly from them.
- Please Note that homeowners are responsible for clearing dryer duct venting and other ductwork. Lint-clogged dryer ducts, in particular, pose a significant fire risk, similar to clogged chimneys.
- Read Baywatch Pool Area Use Policy: As the summer season approaches, we would like to remind all community members about the rules and hours for our community pool. Ensuring everyone follows these guidelines helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all Baywatch residents.
Pool Hours: Sunday through Thursday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday and Saturday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

- ELECTIONS! Please participate in the upcoming Baywatch election on August 14th, 2024. Your vote helps ensure that dedicated and experienced professionals manage our community, enhancing and protecting your assets.. Your vote is your voice. Please vote!
Voting Details:
* Mail-In Ballots: Must be mailed by or before August 5th to allow sufficient delivery time.
* In-Person Voting: Bring your ballot to the pool area on August 14th before 6:45 pm.
* Board Positions: There are three open board positions with six candidates running. Please carefully follow the instructions on the voting envelope to ensure your vote is counted and not disregarded due to technical errors.
* Ballot Distribution: You will receive your mail-in ballots 30 days before the election date or sooner. Your packet will include voting instructions and each candidate's statement of purpose for running.
* Additional information will be posted on this page as it becomes available.
- Posting notices on the mailboxes is strictly prohibited, except in emergencies by the Board of Directors and/or Optimum. This rule helps prevent damage to the mailboxes and maintains the community's desired clean and uncluttered appearance.
- How to Handle Ducks and Their Ducklings Guidelines Document: The presence of migrating ducks and their adorable ducklings at Baywatch has prompted safety considerations. While some residents may have good intentions in trying to assist by capturing ducklings, it can inadvertently lead to separating them from their mothers, causing distress for both. Please review these guidelines on how to safely interact with these beautiful birds without causing harm.
- Athens Services conduct trash collection every Tuesday. Please ensure that trash containers are placed outside no earlier than the evening before the scheduled pickup and are brought back inside your garage the same day as the collection. Leaving trash bins out for more than 24 hours violates HOA policy and may result in fines. It is also unsanitary. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- The City of Los Angeles and Athens Services observe New Year’s Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on Monday – Saturday, collection services for the remainder of the week will be delayed one day. If the holiday falls on a Sunday there will be no delay in service.
> Athens Servies Phone Number: (888) 336-6100 - Athens Services provides bulky item collection for a fee to commercial and industrial businesses and institutions. Multi-family residential, bulky items are collected by the City of Los Angeles. Please note they will not pick up bulky items inside a private gated community. Residents would need to get instructions as to where to put the bulky items. To schedule a pick-up, please Call LA Sanitation Customer Care Center 1-800-773-2489 (or 311) or visit My LA 311.
- Bulky Item Examples (include, but are not limited to): Appliances (i.e. refrigerators and dryers), furniture, large broken toys, mattresses, rugs, tree trunks, and water heaters.

Named after its legislative authors, Assemblymen David Stirling and Lawrence Davis, the Act was first enacted in 1985.
